T S Harrison & Sons was founded in 1898 and in the year 1900 built their first Harrison Lathe in Yorkshire, England. Harrison enjoys a long lathe history that spans around 120 years. To date, there is a North American machine tool population of nearly 20,000 lathes and 140,000 machine tools world-wide. Harrison has a recognized worldwide reputation for super precision quality, long term reliability and universal serviceability. Lathes range from 13" to 21" swing types and 25" to 120" center type lathes; in gear head and infinitely variable drive machines with constant surface feed.

The Harrison longstanding tradition continues to grow globally via our mother company, the 600 Group based in England, UK. The 600 Group has many subsidiaries serving the world marketplace, including Clausing Industrial, which is based in Kalamazoo, MI. Clausing was founded in 1911.
